AYM Higher is a non-profit organisation which works to overcome day to day issues within the community. AYM Higher aims to promote and foster tolerance and good community relations by providing opportunities for young people to be able to openly discuss these issues, identify and challenge racism and other forms of discrimination within themselves and their communities, including that against race, gender, sexual orientation, faith, religion, disability, appearance and social class. We work to develop access to a safe and secure environment by promoting the potential of young people through sport activities, education programmes and youth support services.
The staff and management are highly skilled and experienced in a range of footballing disciplines. Their backgrounds range from Football Association (FA) coaches to qualified youth workers, and from sports industry workers to physiotherapists, providing a broad range of experience as both managers and facilitators within formal and informal educational/social settings.
